Somerset Musicians was founded by Aggie Bevan in 2022. Aggie comes from a large musical family in Somerset and has sung in local choirs and played in local orchestras from a very young age. Aggie is a professional singer and flautist with over 10 years experience performing across the South West of England, as well as in Vietnam and the Far East where she lived for 4 years.

On returning to Somerset in 2021, Aggie found there were lots of talented musicians in the area, and no lack of events and ceremonies needing them, but that a platform for putting them in touch didn't really exist. Since then, she has accumulated a network of excellent singers and instrumentalists, many of whom she has performed with over the years, and it is her mission to find regular work for these musicians and introduce much more live music to our Somerset churches and venues.
